Booking
Here are some common questions regarding booking a stay at Canute's Field.
What's the minimum number of nights we can book?
A minimum of 2 nights can be booked in Canute's glamping pod up to a maximum of 14 nights. The Blue Tent and the two tent pitches can be booked for 1 or more nights. You can find the prices for each, and any available offers on the Accommodation and/or Booking Online pages.
Can we pay with cash on arrival
All bookings must be paid online at least 24 hours in advance of the first night. Payment in advance should be in full. This is a cashless site.
How many types of accommodation are available
There are three types of accommodation that are available to book if not already booked:
The Bell Tent - glamping
The Blue Tent - a family sized tent comes as is, no beds or bedding provided
Two tent pitches on grass, no tent, beds or bedding provided.

Glamping accomodation
What's included inside the bell tent?
Double bed, 2 pop up single beds, side tables and lights, comfy furnishing, and carpeted.
Is bedding provided?
Yes bedding will be provided. The double bed has a duvet and pillows with bedding for this. The Pop ups will have ?? TBC
Are towels provided?
Yes towels will be provide for up to 4 people.
Is electricity provided?
Electricity for the Bell Tent is provided.
Is heating provided
TBC.
What bathroom facilities are available?
For the 2026 season there is a toilet with a sink available at a short walk to the main house. For the Bell Tent there is also an Eco shower close to the tent.
What is the maximum number of people the text sleeps?
The Bell Tent sleeps up to 4 people. There is one double bed and two pop up single beds.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are not allowed.
Is there somewhere to cook?
For the Bell Tent there is a BBQ and small fire pit. There is also access to the 18th century tithe barn, with full kitchen facilities including a fridge and oven/hob.
Is the tent waterproof?
Yes the Bell Tent is waterproof and has been manufactured to cope with UK weather.
