In addition to a secluded and pictureseque setting for your glamping or camping stay, we provide the following:
Sleeping arrangements
Discover the comfort of a 5 metre bell tent, which comfortably sleeps up to 4 people.
See accommodation page for all options.
Bell Tent: Double bed, 2 pop up single beds, side tables and lights, comfy furnishing, and carpeted.
Toilets
2026 facilities
For the 2026 season there is a toilet with a sink available at a short walk to the main house. For the Bell Tent there is also an Eco shower close to the tent.
Cooking facilities
Our serene camping environment allows you to disconnect and recharge.
For the Bell Tent, a BBQ is provided along with a small firepit.
Kitchen facilities
18th Century barn houses a kitchen which is a short walk away
Outside tap with cold water supply, and access to the 18th century tithe barn, with full kitchen facilities including a fridge and oven/hob.
Electricity
Bell Tent only
There is electricity in the bell tent. Please note that currently there is no WIFI in Canute's Field.
Why this is special
Canute's Field sits within the grounds of the Prebendal Manor, which has been a family home for over 50 years.
The Grade 1 listed manor is the earliest surviving dwelling in Northamptonshire with a history dating back to the Anglo-Saxon period.
The house and grounds were restored in the 1970's and again in the late 1980s when the gardens and grounds were extensively reconstructed to include many plants that were true to the Medieval period.
Along with the Manor, there is a tithe barn, a dovecote, two fishponds and an orchard, which provide a beautiful backdrop to the glamping experience.
